Worthless explores and comments on the value certain items have to us as individuals. Using gold, a universal symbol of wealth and value to mask the entire piece, it is immediately evident that the items featured have value. Through juxtaposition and a gold façade the items’ intrinsic values are revealed and their true worth can be analyzed and critiqued. Why are they considered valuable? Why do I personally value these items? Ultimately, this is the self-reflection Worthless aims to create.
